The Woodward Dream Cruise is not one event. It is a week of them, and the official 2026 city lineup is now posted. Around the main cruise on Saturday, August 15, the towns along Woodward stack their own parades, car shows, and street parties, and several of the best ones happen Friday night. Royal Oak continues the Car Show in the Park from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Birmingham fills South Old Woodward with a car show and vendor displays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Farther north, Pleasant Ridge and Pontiac have merchandise tents confirmed, with more events still to be announced.
