Halloween at The Station: Free Event in Detroit

This Halloween, Michigan Central is inviting Detroiters of all ages to enjoy a festive evening of family-friendly activities, live performances, and free treats at one of the city’s most iconic locations. On Friday, October 31, 2025, the landmark will come alive with Halloween at The Station, a free community celebration hosted in partnership with Ford Philanthropy.

From 5 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy trunk-or-treating in front of the station, where Ford employees will be handing out candy from creatively decorated vehicles. The outdoor space will be fully lit with spooky Halloween-themed lights, creating a vibrant and safe environment for kids and families to celebrate the holiday together.

Inside the station, Fridays at The Station will run from 5 to 10 p.m., offering an evening filled with live music, hands-on activities, and local food and drink vendors. Pre-registration is encouraged for the indoor portion, as space is limited.
