Parcel is giving travelers a new reason to plan a Northern Michigan escape.
Located in Leelanau County, Parcel offers a quiet and design focused cabin stay. The property sits on 7 acres near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It is surrounded by forest, open land, and easy access to Lake Michigan.
For Detroit travelers, it is about 4 hours away. That makes it a strong option for a weekend trip or a longer summer stay.
A Cabin Stay in Leelanau County
Parcel features 2 cabins, the Meadow Cabin and the Forest Cabin. Each one blends Northern Michigan architecture with Scandinavian inspired design.

The Meadow Cabin is the larger option. It sleeps 6 guests and includes 2 main floor bedrooms and a loft bedroom. It also has 2 bathrooms, an open living space, and a full kitchen. In addition, the cabin features large windows, high ceilings, a wood burning stove, and heated bathroom floors.
The Forest Cabin is smaller and more tucked into the woods. It sleeps 4 guests and includes 1 main floor bedroom and a loft. It also has a full kitchen, a cozy living area with a wood burning stove, and a private outdoor patio. Like the Meadow Cabin, it includes custom furniture, curated artwork, and warm wood finishes.
A Focus on the Full Experience
At Parcel, the experience goes beyond the cabins.
Guests can walk wooded trails across the property. They can also use the shared concrete sauna and outdoor shower. In addition, there is an Argentinian parilla grill for cooking and a private dock on Little Traverse Lake.

The Meadow Cabin also includes access to an outdoor kitchen and fireplace. As a result, it works well for group dinners and relaxed nights outside.
Inside, the details feel intentional. Guests will find Parachute linens, Le Labo soaps, Panther Coffee, Flowerhead Tea, and curated books. There are also games, cookware, and custom pieces created by the Parcel team and their creative network.

There are no TVs on the property. Instead, the focus is on slowing down and enjoying the space.
Built by a Creative Community
Parcel was created by a group of friends, designers, and artists. They all share a long connection to Northern Michigan.

Because of that, the project feels personal. The cabins include work from painters, ceramicists, photographers, and other creatives. This adds character and makes the stay feel different from a typical rental.
Close to Everything in Northern Michigan
Parcel is located between Glen Arbor and Leland. Because of this, guests are close to some of the best spots in the region.
During the summer, visitors can enjoy beaches, hiking, and local wineries. In the fall, the area is known for color drives and cooler weather. Winter brings a quieter pace, along with snow and sauna sessions.
Planning Your Stay at Parcel
Parcel is located in Maple City, about 25 minutes from Traverse City. Guests can book one cabin or reserve the full property.
Children are welcome, but pets are not allowed. Each cabin includes a loft with ladder access, so that is something to keep in mind when booking.
Overall, Parcel offers a simple idea done well. It is a place to slow down, enjoy nature, and spend time with the people you came with.
